The Chicago Police Department proudly presents to P.O. James T. Volland #8951 the "Superintendent's Award of Valor" in recognition of an outstanding act of bravery with no regard to self or personal safety with great individual courage and with dedicated devotion to duty. May 7, 2002.

Mayor Richard M Daley and the members of the Chicago City Council also awarded P.O. James Volland with a "City Council Resolution" recognizing his bravery and heroic actions! This was presented by Alderman Edward M Burke, October 31, 2001.

Jimmy was very proud of these awards and his personal accomplishments!
